Student receives help with funding for her school trip
A high school student reached out to HASKD to help fund her trip to Washington D.C. to participate in the American Junior Academy of Science Conference . HASKD gladly put a smile on this very dedicated student by funding her registration fee, hotel and transportation to the conference.
Back to School
HASKD has helped 3 high school students ( two girls and one boy) have a Sammi Kinda Day going Back to School Shopping. Sammi always wanted to help the students that didn't have the same opportunities that she had. For some families back to school shopping is a huge burden. HASKD was so happy to help bring a smile to their faces by giving them gift cards for back to school shopping.
College bound with a smile
HASKD had a Mom reach out to us to help her son who was working so hard to get into college and make a better life for himself. She was very proud of him but because she was sick and out of work, she couldn't help him financially. So HASKD was happy to bring a "starting college smile" to this hardworking young man by giving him funds for books and school supplies.
